Three artists, three ways of seeing the world.

Through painting and film photography, each offers a distinct perspective. Between observation and imagination, light and shadow, brushstrokes and film grain, lies a space in between.

“The Space in Between” invites you to linger in the dialogue unfolding between the artworks and their creators.

Meet The Artists:

EVE CHAN: Driven by a love for travel and exploration, Eve picked up film photography in university as an affordable way to document her surroundings. What began as a practical habit quickly became a lifelong passion. Today, her camera goes everywhere with her, usually tucked into a backpack as she captures the landscapes, places, and quiet moments she encounters along the way.

KARO CHIA is a visual artist from Borneo, currently based in KL. Working primarily in oil pastels and acrylics, her practice is shaped by years of solo hiking and bikepacking through remote terrains. Her expressive landscapes prioritize emotion and memory over specific locations, using atmosphere to examine human scale within the vastness of nature.

MELODY. PANG W. E is an interdisciplinary artist who explores emotional atmospheres, solitude, and memory through painting and community-based art initiatives. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts (MA) in Fine Arts at USM, where she continues to develop her research into emotional expression and audience engagement. She founded Dreamer Haven Art Cafe, a creative space for accessible art and community connection.
