Art has always been woven into the fabric of Nicole Yap’s life, from her earliest memories of losing herself in sketching, colour and stories to building a dynamic career in advertising and marketing with global agencies like McCann Erickson and Ogilvy & Mather. But it was during her time at OtherHalf Studio that she felt a deeper shift – a pull toward creating something more meaningful. Managing passion projects like collective art animations, installations, open calls, and commercial ventures opened her eyes to the profound connection between art and community. She saw how creativity could transcend boundaries, becoming a tool for storytelling, individuality, and self-expression. These experiences ignited a spark that became ArtVibe, a space where creativity flows freely, uninhibited by age, skill, or convention. ArtVibe was born out of a simple yet powerful belief: art isn’t just about mastering techniques; it’s about discovering your unique voice and expressing it boldly. Here, we celebrate the messy, the curious, and the extraordinary journey of making art.
