Peter Liew Art Gallery has on display fine art paintings of Peter Liew and various East European artists. The artist will be at his gallery to welcome visitors during Open Studios Penang on March 27th-29th and April 3rd-5th, 1pm to 6pm.

Peter Liew graduated from MIA in the late 70s with a diploma in fine art and lectured for over a decade before becoming a full-time artist for the past 30 years. He has exhibited his works in multiple countries in Asia and Europe as well as the U.S. in group and solo shows, and has been invited by governments all over the world to showcase his art in national and state museums. Peter Liew’s medium of choice is oil on canvas; he has created his own style of oil painting that heavily influenced many local artists and is currently growing in Asian and beyond.
