Maizul Affendy HEAL-LANG Live Performance Art

“Heal” means for a wound or person to become healthy again. Hilang is a Malay word meaning lost or missing.
HEAL-LANG will be a live-action painting performance art by Maizul Affendy, based involving the sub-conscious and un-conscious minds with the help of both scripted and unscripted parts, incorporating time, space and sound.
Approximately 10 x 10 feet of unstretched canvas, industrial colour paint, varnish, pastels, graphite, charcoals, rollers, ropes, pelaka paints, brushes, unused clothes, papers, etc. will all be used in a live-action painting-making process as a poetical, story-telling, and conceptual performance art piece without audience participation.
