An exhibition of some of Kumar Nagalingamin’s work. You can also meet him at Gudang Café 6.00pm – 10.00pm daily and he will paint there on Saturday 15th 7pm-9pm so you can watch him work.

A lawyer by training, and originally from Ipoh, Kumar has been painting in oils since the age of 13. He characterises his work as spontaneous realism and surrealism. His work has been exhibited in various galleries in Malaysia.

He has also conducted 5 art classes for adults called ‘Art to Heart’, which is both intended to teach the finer strokes and lines of art and also to find a sense of calmness in its processes. During the recent MCO, he conducted a series of on-line art classes, namely 10 classes titled – ‘KEEP CALM & DOODLE WITH KUMAR and 8 classes titled – ‘PAINT with KUMAR’

Kumar will also be holding an open studio where you can see him paint at Utoo Boho Cafe on Sunday 2.30pm-4.30pm.
