Koay Sheng Tat is a Penangite who graduated from the Penang Institute of Multimedia and Design. By day he is a professional visual designer and by night/weekends he is an artist. Ah Tat specialises in watercolour painting that illustrates the classic street life. From colonial buildings to alleyways, plants by the side walk or small animals, big cities to small town, all of these have inspired him to pick up his brushes. Sheng Tat is a member of the Malaysian Watercolour Society, Penang Watercolor Society , Penang Art Society and Penang Balik PulauArt Society. This exhibition showcases his portrayals of classic street life and captured missed moments throughout George Town
