Yaya Mostapa is a Malaysian visual artist and fashion design graduate. As a full-time artist, she spends her weekdays working on commissioned artworks while also hosting community art workshops in Kuala Lumpur. Now she believes it’s the right time to bring this experience to Penang, to connect with more people, hear new stories, and share the beauty of art with those who have the same passion and curiosity for creative expression.

Forte Abstract is an abstract art workshop centered around repetitive patterns, creating a calm and meditative experience. Participants are encouraged to slow down, focus in silence, and express their emotions and thoughts through the process of making art. It is a form of quiet therapy where the journey is just as meaningful as the final artwork. The workshop uses acrylic on canvas as the primary medium and typically runs for 1 to 1.5 hours.
