Lee Phaik Kee specializes in drawing from life and has a passion for capturing people. Based in Kuala Lumpur, she has painted various subjects using different mediums. her figurative drawing journey began during the pandemic. To stay sane, she drew live models through Zoom sessions.

In her Expressive Charcoal Portrait Workshop, you will:

• Learn how to use charcoal effectively.
• Use strokes to form shapes.
• Explore shadows and highlights to create depth.
• All materials will be provided.

After 2–3 rounds of warm-up exploration, you will choose a photo of someone to draw, focusing on creating an expressive piece rather than a realistic portrait.
