Dhavinder Singh Open Studio and Exhibition
14 March 2025 @ 11:00 am - 16 March 2025 @ 7:00 pm

Dhavinder Singh (b. 1983, Malaysia) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Kuala Lumpur. His practice explores the repurposing and reconfiguration of materials through painting, animation, assemblage, and site-specific installations. With a spontaneous approach, his work often serves as a visual metaphor for his emotional responses to space and subject matter. Dhavinder has held several solo exhibitions, including Please Do Not Sit – A Show About Chairs (2022) and Tagistan (2020), both of which highlight his distinctive approach to materials and spatial dynamics. Other notable exhibitions include Test Tanah (2019), Recollectus (2017), and MO: Formal(and)scapes (2014). His work continues to evolve as he pushes the boundaries of his practice and engagement with different mediums.
Dhavinder welcomes you to his open studio exhibition, where visitors can explore works-in-progress, finished pieces, and the materials behind the process, engage with the artist, ask questions, and experience art in its raw, evolving form. Alongside the exhibition, limited-edition handmade merchandise, and exclusive studio collectibles will be available for purchase. His studio will be open 11am to 7pm daily.
