Oil on canvas, water colour, sketches & caricature books – a collection of paintings over the years and most of them are of the surrealism genre. There will also many sketches of Penang, particularly George Town.

A lawyer by training, Kumar grow up in Ipoh and has been painting in oils from the age of 13.

His exhibition encompasses four decades of his journey as an artist. His work over the years has evolved from copying the work of other artists to copying from a photograph of an actual picture. Currently, a lot of his work comes from his own imagination and is moving towards spontaneous realism and surrealism.

Kumar will be working on a new painting at Urban Green Cabin during Open Studios, and is offering to paint your portrait in only 15 minutes, at the very reasonable cost of RM 20!
