AlterBibo centres on the eponymous fictional character created by Tekla Tamoria (b.1989, Philippines), a multidisciplinary artist who repurposes discarded fabrics, clothing, and paper into intricate creations that interweave Filipino cultural narratives with personal stories and imagination. It is the inaugural edition of FOR THE LAB, a series of intimate pop-up exhibitions by art consultancy Belarmino Partners that delve into the multifaceted transformations of acsingle work, exploring how a singular creation can unfold into diverse formats and interpretations.
