A’aishah has loved doing painting since the age of 14. Developing her artistic talent with guidance of the late Sir Daud. Shortly after STPM, she continued her studies at Indonesian Institute of Arts (ASRI Jogyakarta, Indonesia) for 4 years in the field of art (B.A. Art).

While in Indonesia she had numbers of exhibitions. Graduated in 1980, then come back to pursue her lifelong dreams to be an artist by joining Anak Alam group and Angkatan Pelukis Kedah in 1981 . Have been exhibiting with Angkatan Pelukis Kedah until now, currently hold the position as President.

A’aishah tends to abstract with oil and acrylic. Balai Seni Lukis Negara and Dato Seri Sanusi Junid collected her artwork. Aged 69, still actively involved in art scene . Nature is a reflection, her idea is to create.

She will be working in her temporary open studio from 11am to 5pm on Saturday October 7th
